Male Enhancement Drugs Removed from Shelves

A number of male enhancement products were recently recalled from the market. They include were Nature & Health’s six different penis enhancement supplements and Brookstone Pharmaceutical’s Concentrated Acetaminophen Drops. The Washington Post reported the story on July 18th, reminding everyone of just how dangerous drugs like these can be and the risks they carry.

What Dangers Do Male Enhancement Drugs Have?

More than eight different male enhancement drugs created by three different companies were listed in the recall, and all were recalled because tests showed that they could damage the healthy of anyone who used them.

The risks involved included kidney damage, causing a sudden and dangerous drop in blood pressure, and liver toxicity, among other side effects. The recall was sent out before any illness was reported that could be linked to the supplements. The products recalled all presented major risks for users, although some were more dangerous than others.

The most dangerous product that was recalled was Brookstone Pharmaceutical’s Concentrated Acetaminophen Drops. One of the biggest dangers with this product was that the instructions regarding the dosage of the drops was somewhat confusing and could be misinterpreted by the user. More than 5,500 bottles of the product were recalled.

If the product was taken in a high dosage, tests showed that it could very easily permanently damage the kidneys and liver. It could also cause a number of blood disorders. Brookstone was not the only company that produced products like this. Nature & Health Co. had six different male enhancement products recalled: Y-4ever, LibieXtreme, Libimax, Powermania capsule, Powermania liquid, and Herbal Disiac all had risks that were similar to the Acetaminophen Drops.

The packaging on these products did not accurately list their ingredients, and the unlisted ingredients could all lead to low blood pressure, especially in diabetics, and high blood pressure and high cholesterol in those with heart disease.

Are There Safe Enhancement Supplements?

Many people wonder if there are any safe male enhancement supplements. Fortunately, the recalled products were only a small handful of the many different enhancement products available. The fact that these products made it to the open market is concerning and makes many wonder if other enhancement products have hidden dangers. There are much safer and more natural methods of penis enlargement that do not carry these risks. Overall, if you’re not certain about the effects of a penis pill, don’t take it.
