I don't know if money was behind all of this.
All I can do is speculate. What I do find odd is, how once
people started saying this, everyone said this. It was some
snowball effect or something. I don't think that the world has
anything against eggs. It is a popularity thing. I mean, when
we were in school we did everything that the popular kids did.
If the popular people on television say eggs are bad, all the
rest have to follow too.
So, what were said
about eggs? There were a lot of things that were
said. It was said that they are high in fat and cholesterol.
Both is not true. They said that we should only eat two to
three eggs in a week. I don't think that is true either. I
have to say that this is just my opinion here. Don't go
holding me to the fire thinking that everything that is about
to be said is fact. All I am doing is stating my beliefs and
experiences.
I have known several people who lived to be
in their 80's and 90's who ate eggs every day of their lives.
I mean they didn't miss a days worth of eggs. Why didn't they
die the fast death that people claim egg eaters do? Because it
is nothing more than a cheap lie.
What do eggs do for
us? Well, they do a lot of things. They offer a
good source of protein. If you are a body builder, you know
how important that is. They give our hair a good shine and it
makes our hair easier to manage. They are a good source of
vitamins. There is no doubt that eggs in this respect are good
for you. Did you know that egg shells also have calcium? Yes,
that is what differs them from other eggs, such as turtle
eggs. If you have ever touched a turtle egg you know that they
are rubbery, like a rubber ball.
Here are some ways that I love to eat eggs.
Hard boiled.
I love to hard boil my eggs for breakfast
some time. Sprinkle a little salt on them and they are the
best damn breakfast food out there.
Omlets.
I love them prepared this way. Throw in some
cheese and some veggies. If you want to go the extra mile,
throw in some ham too. It is a meal in itself.
Scrambled.
How can you go wrong
with scrambled eggs?
Sunny side up.
I love them like this too. I love dipping
biscuits in the egg yolk. Nothing says breakfast like this.
You should always make sure that your eggs
are fully cooked. 1 in 10,000 eggs are infected with a virus.
If you cook them all the way done, you will almost eliminate
the risk of getting sick. I wouldn't eat more than two eggs
per day if you are on a low fat diet. That sure sounds a lot
different than the two eggs per week. You can eat more if you
don't feel that it will bother your diet. Just don't eat a
whole dozen of eggs uncooked. But, I don't think you are that
stupid. You should also never eat raw eggs. Don't gulp an egg
down and think that you are being manly because of it. You are
doing nothing more than acting stupid. You really could get
sick.
You should also be careful with egg nog. That
is uncooked eggs. You should buy the kind in the store that is
pasteurized. Also, if you are eating something like mayo or a
salad that has mayo in it, always make sure that you keep it
cold. If you allow it to get warm, you are risking getting
sick. If you have a picnic, make sure that you eat the mayo
containing food right away. Also, keep it out of the sun.
