Got Something You Just Need To Get Out?
Despite what some people may think, orgasm and ejaculation do not always have to come hand in hand, they are not adjoined processes and you can have one without the other.
However, when a man has an orgasm and does not ejaculate, there can be an underlying medical problem, and therefore if it should happen on a regular basis, you should ideally
get it checked out with a healthcare professional.
Some men strengthen their PC muscles, as women do, and this can allow the man to come to climax but without expelling semen. However, there can be another reason behind it and
the term is retrograde ejaculation and this is when, instead of semen coming from the end of the penis, as ejaculation would normally occur, the fluid is propelled back, into
the bladder, and most often sports cloudy urine after sexual activity.
If you have had prostate surgery, then you can occasionally expect this to happen, but it can also be
a sign of a man with diabetes or multiple sclerosis and therefore, should encourage you to visit your GP.
Always remember, that if you do come to orgasm without ejaculating, you can still get your partner pregnant, so do not use this as an excuse, of sorts, to not use protection
during sexual activity.
Another reason why you may experience an orgasm but without ejaculation, is an underlying fertility problem and therefore, should again encourage you to pop along to your
doctor just to see if there is a medical reason that you are experiencing this.
At the end of the day, if you notice any difference to your body or the way your body reacts in certain situations and certainly during sexual activity or relating to your
sexual organs, it is always a good idea to visit a healthcare professional to ensure that there are no underlying problems.
If there is a medical reason behind orgasm
without ejaculation, then the earlier it is diagnosed, the quicker it can be treated to allow your sex life to get back to normal. The longer you leave it, the longer
you will beat yourself up, and the less likely you are to be treated as easily as when you first spotted it. Be sensible, and always report problems to a doctor.
