8 Preconceived Ideas About Orgasms
Everyone knows what an orgasm is; most times it seems like this term is used for men rather then for men and women, being associated with tremendous
pleasure ejaculation. Here are some preconceived ideas:
1.Orgasm equals ejaculation
. Althogh it is hard to imagine the male orgasm without ejaculation, the two are not synonyms. Orgasms have different intensities:
sometimes they can manifest as simple prostate contractions followed by light sensations of pleasure, other times they can result in abrupt respiration,
uncontrolled moans, contractions of the face muscles and the sweet feeling of imponderability, of supreme relaxation. Though ejaculation appears after the orgasm,
the two can be felt simultaneously.
2. Men do not confront anorgasmia. Fake. They can confront anorgasmia, especially if they have certain medical issues. Anorgasmia is a problem of the psychical
constitution, a disease that manifests regardless to the quality of sex. In men, the incapacity to ejaculate can be mistaken to anorgasmia, because of this
association of the orgasm with the actual ejaculation. Some men can have erections, although they do not ejaculate, or they can ejaculate without reaching an orgasm.
3.Cicumcisions do not influence the intensity of the male orgasm. Once the skin that protects the penis head has been removed, there is the posibility that
the penis becomes less sensible. There are chances that circumcised men need more time to reach an orgasm.
4.The intensity of the male orgasm does not depend on certain sexual positions
. The male orgasm may depend on certain sexual positions, but not quite as in
women’s cases. Most times, men’s pleasure is determined by the picture of their partners’ body and not that much on their own erogen areas.
5.Orgasms can be more easily reached through oral sex than through penetration. Fake. Everything depends on the preferences of both partners. There are men
and women who prefer oral sex as the only way of reaching an orgasm, or as an auxiliary penetration method, and there are men and women who can exclusively
reach an orgasm through genitals contact.
6.It is normal that both partners reach an orgasm at every intercourse. The number of orgasms must not be directly proportional with the number of sexual
intercourses. There are many situations in which men or women reach an orgasm, more orgasms or they do not reach an orgasm at all during sexual intercourse,
which is not abnormal.
7.A healthy ejaculation should be intense eveytime. The intensity of ejaculation depends on certain factors (the number of sexual intercourses, the frequency
of male masturbation, health problems). Usually, the first ejaculation is more strong and it’s intensity lowers if you continue to have sex during one day.
8.Women’s orgasm depends on men’s sexual abilities. Fake. It is true that men are appreciated or not for their sexual performances, but the experience of the
feminin orgasm depends mostly on the woman that wants to reach it. If she cannot reach a vaginal orgasm, it is not necessarily the man’s fault.
