Viagra Makes Men More Sensible

If until now it was believed that Viagra equals masculinity and that masculinity has nothing to do with sensibility, researchers managed to break this myth. The results of the studies have shown that Viagra not only revives men's sex drive ,but also men's sexual and emotional capacities are affected and raised after using this drug.

But how is this possible? It is in fact a matter of hormones. Oxytocin, a hypophysis hormone (hypophysis is the endocrine gland that coordinates the whole hormonal activity of our body) is stimulated by the administration of Viagra . Due to the release of oxytocin into our body, a real hormonal avalanche is taking place which apparently is making men more sensible, more romantic, and more affective.

This could be the explanation of the fact that a lot of persons say that they have fallen in love with someone after they have had sexual intercourse with them. But can in fact oxytocin be responsible for 'falling in love'? This hormone is best known for its role in inducing labor, but it could also play a significant role in men's abilities to maintain healthy interpersonal relationships and create healthy psychological boundaries with others.

Being one of the first looks into the biological basis for human attachment and bonding, the study of oxytocin could be mediating a series of emotional experiences in close relationships. In humans, milk ejaculation during lactation and uterine contraction during birth is being stimulated by oxytocin. Also, in both men and women oxytocin is being released during sexual orgasm , and moreover after the use of Viagra.

Oxytocin is also released in response to intense emotional states in addition to physical cues. When you recall and re-experience a past relationship event that causes you to feel a positive emotion, such as love or infatuation, the levels of oxytocin rise slightly, and when you face negative feelings such as loss or abandonment, oxytocin levels drop.

People whose bloodstream oxytocin levels rise in correlation to remembering a positive relationship report they have little difficulty setting appropriate boundaries, being alone and trying too hard to please others, while those whose oxytocin levels fall in response to a negative emotional relationship report greater problems and experience anxiety in close relationships.

The conclusion is that in fact having this hormone available during positive experiences and not being depleted of it during negative events is associated with well-being in relationships. Those who are currently involved in a committed relationship experience greater oxytocin increases in response to positive emotions rather than those who are single.

Since the release of oxytocin can be classically conditioned, after repeatedly having sex with the same partner, just seeing that partner could release more oxytocin, making you want to be with that person all the more, and you bond.

The use of Viagra stimulates the release of oxytocin, the "cuddle hormone", therefore it contributes to the maintenance of close, regular relationships and it raises the levels of sensibility in men.
